This has been an exceptional year for me and my family....whoa...so much to share. Since my last post (too long ago!!) I have retired and have been reorganizing my time for the last month to catapult myself into my new second career of photography. So much fun, so much work, but it is an amazing journey that I would recommend everyone take in following their dreams and ambitions to fill their hearts.
Being retired requires having lots of parties and gatherings to celebrate such a milestone. I could never have imagined the love and thoughfulness that comes from all we touch. Not to mention the good news of knowing I will be graced as a proud grandmother (my family calls me "Bubbie") AGAIN next June. Couldn't be happier for my son and his wife....
Since my last post, I have travelled to Florida and San Antonio on the skirts of the last hurricane, retired, hosted a baby shower, hosted my share of fantastic family Christmas gatherings, enjoyed my grandchild as much as possible along with providing various clients with family and holiday photo sessions that make them smile. After all, isn't that what it's all about? Making folks happy makes me happy. You will notice in following my blogs this is a continuous theme with me, to help provide the smiles along the way in life....how fun.
I am looking forward to 2009 with much energy as to share my photography where I can which also includes good times in meeting new clients, providing a positive attitude to show love and strength in all the daily paths we take.
Perhaps we will meet each other in the new year and capture some moments in photography for you to reflect on with lasting warmth to the heart ...wouldn't that great??
My New Year's Resolution is to post regularly to keep you up to date with all the great happenings with my now active photography career and great opportunities to make the most of our money during these challenging financial times. After all, I'm retired now...I should have more time, right??? :-)
